10:35 AM, Variable Clouds, Some Sun, 49°F
Morning Low = 33°F
I’m always amazed at how golden late October sunsets can be!

It’s an amazing color that doesn’t seem to show up at any other time. Do I dare say that it is a “cozy colour?”
While we are past peak, there are still some decent pockets of autumn foliage, like this one near Marshall’s Power Equipment. I was there to arrange our riding mower transport since it inexplicably quit on Thursday when Sally was mulching up the leaves with it.

So…. how are we going to now deal with all of the fallen leaves? Oh…. we have a plan! Stay tuned.
For the past two days, our sky has hosted some amazingly decorative (and unproductive) clouds!

With Noah spending a long weekend with his college-aged church buddies at Round Lake Retreat Center (about 2 hours away), and with my being shorted on sleep Thursday night, I slept long, hard, and well last night. Still in my jams, I made myself a stack of (duck eggs) French toast topped with organic raspberries and Vermont maple syrup. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
