It’s a BIG day…..
….#1… for longtime friend (from my high school days!) Mike Cejka, who announced his retirement on Monday:
I’ve been so excited for him that I could not sleep past 4 AM. I’ve been watching WIVB-4 live all morning. Watching all of the accolades coming in has truly been heartwarming.
…..#2 …..for my friend Jón Jónsson and his made for TV (and now film) boy-band, the Iceguys. Their anticipated theatrical release of Iceguys The Movie releasing tonight at theaters all over Iceland. Their film soundtrack released two days ago and Track 1 (Besti Dagur Ever) is foot stomping good!

It has been an amazingly busy week thus far. On Wednesday and Thursday, Sally and I were heavily involved in the annual Heartfelt Radio fund-raiser wich will conclude tonight at 6 o’clock.
Like threading a needle with my week’s itinerary, Christopher First, his wife Julie, Pastor Gunnar Gunnarsson, and I were able to figure out a way to meet via Google Teams to finalize the film project’s effect we shot in late April and early May in Iceland.
But the day is far from done! Time to get ready for my Friday Senior’s Men’s bowling league… after that…. a very quiet start to the weekend since Noah left for a youth church retreat at a camp a few hours away for the weekend.
